The 13th VIP Training Course for Mahogany Appraisal and Appreciation Successfully Held in Beijing

     From 17th Sep. to 20th Sep. 2019, the 13th VIP training course for mahogany appraisal and appreciation jointly held by Wood Value Promotion and Sustainable Development Center (WVPSDC for short), National Timber & Wood Product Property and Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (NTWPPQSIC for short), China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association(CTWPDA) was successfully completed in China Red Sandalwood Museum.

 

   

 

    On 17th Sep., NTWPPQSIC cordially invited Madam Chan Laiwa- curator of China Red Sandalwood Museum, Mr Chi Chungsui - director of Beijing Red Sandalwood Culture Foundation, Mr Li Jiafeng - deputy director of CTWPDA and Madam Yao Yuping- chief engineer of WVPSDC and Mr Jin Yongjie - assistant of the curator of China Red Sandalwood Museum to attend the opening ceremony.

 

   

 

    Firstly, on behalf of the sponsor, Madam Yao Yuping, chief engineer of WVPSDC welcomed all trainees to attend the 13th VIP training course for mahogany appraisal and appreciation and expressed her gratitude to China Red Sandalwood Museum for the strong support to the training course. Madam Yao introduced the development and ives of WVPSDC and suggested that, being outstanding in the mahogany industry, all trainees shall not only act as models at work, but also set benchmark in learning activities. She sincerely hoped that all trainees can plunge into the training course with full enthusiasm, make the expected achievement and contribute to the development of the industry.

 

 

   

    Mr Li Jiafeng, deputy director of CTWPDA mentioned in his speech that currently there may be some frustrations or difficulties during the development of mahogany enterprise, but the development of mahogany industry is healthy, as long as enterprises guarantee their product quality, they will be competitive in market while enterprises with inferior product quality will be eliminated in the market competition. The market is free for development and competition, which is natural. In a word, from both the national conditions and industry perspective, the future of mahogany industry is still promising.

 

   

    Madam Chan Laiwa, curator of China Red Sandalwood Museum warmly welcomed all the big names in mahogany industry to attend the training course. She has always been with full devotion to the nation and country and fully committed herself in the spread of traditional chinese culture worldwide. She said, at the current downturn period of mahogany industry, we shall seize this opportunity to enrich ourselves with knowledge, make continuous self development in order to contribute to the smooth and fast development of mahogany industry.

 

   

 

    Mr Chi Chungsui highly appraised the talents in mahogany industry and the significant contribution of many outstanding ancestors to the timer and wood industry in china. He sincerely hoped that the trainees can earnestly study the knowledge on mahogany, always keep the sense of responsibility and accountability in mind and carry forward the excellent chinese traditional culture.

 

    After 4 days' assiduous study and through rigid examination, all trainees have done very well and successfully graduated. Madam Chan Laiwa, curator of China Red Sandalwood Museum, Mr Chi Chungsui, director of Beijing Red Sandalwood Culture Foundation, Madam Yu Naiqiu, deputy director of WVPSDC, Mr Jin Yongjie, assistant of the curator of China Red Sandalwood Museum, the experts of the teaching team and all trainees attended the closing ceremony.

 

   

    Madam Chan Laiwa congratulated all trainees on their successful graduation from the VIP training course. She mentioned that though the training course is finished, the study of mahogany and explore of the life shall not stop. We shall keep the spirit of continue learning as long as you live, accumulate successful experiences and learning lessons, be honest and cherish integrity, become the outstanding practitioner in mahogany industry. Mr Chi Chungsui encouraged all trainees to actively engage in the study of mahogany and spreading of traditional chinese culture; be a better self and then help others better.

 

    Madam Yu Naiqiu, deputy director of WVPSDC made a summary speech and she firstly expressed her gratitude to the excellent learning environment and continued strong support provided by China Red Sandalwood Museum. She hoped that all trainees can use that they have learned on the training course in their daily work and promote the development and advancement of the mahogany industry.

 

    Then Madam Chan Laiwa, Mr Chi Chungsui and Madam Yu Naiqiu awarded graduation certificates together to the trainees.

 

    Finally, Madam Han Yujie, Mr Zhang Wenqiang and Mr Li Quan from NTWPPQSIC held seminar and communicated with trainees to sum up the experience and leanings of the training session and get feedback from trainees. Hopefully all people involved can keep in touch for further communication, development and advancement.
